Privacy policy.

The short version: this website does not use cookies, does not track you and does not load anything from other companies. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Who we are

This website, sehmee.nl, is run by Sehmee, an independent app developer based in the Netherlands. Sehmee is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy.

You can reach us by email for anything related to privacy:

What this policy covers

This policy covers the sehmee.nl website only. Each Sehmee app, such as NAS Dashboard, has its own privacy policy that explains what the app does with data. You can find it on the app's store page.

What we do not do

Data we do process

Server logs

Like every website, our web host receives some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, the page you requested, the time, and your browser type. This is needed to deliver the page and to protect the site against abuse. These logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period and are not used to identify or profile you.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you email us

If you send us an email, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to answer your message and to follow up on it, for example a bug report or feature request.

We delete emails once they have been handled and are no longer needed, and at most two years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering questions sent to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Where your data is stored

The website and our email are hosted by service providers that process data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement. We choose providers that store data inside the European Economic Area where possible. If data is transferred outside the EEA, this happens only with appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:

Send your request to the email address above. We reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the data protection authority in your own country.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Our email address is hidden behind a button to keep it away from spam bots.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
